On September 27, VizExplorer CTO and Founder Andrew Cardno was invited to moderate an American Gaming Association panel during G2E 2016 titled Smart Service: Using Big Data to Match Team Members to Customers. Despite happening fairly early on the first day of the conference, the panel was well attended with an audience of around 60 people.
Three notable professionals joined Andrew to discuss and examine issues related to the use of data in customer service. While data is not heavily used today to understand and better meet an organization's customer service needs, the reality is that many in the gaming industry can see the value of using data to ensure guests' requests for services are met with the appropriate action by the right employee.
Panelists included Mark Birtha - President at Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park, Rob Mesirow - Principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), Steven Neely - CMO at Casino Del Sol.
